The firm seeks attorneys who have significant experience representing private businesses for 10 years or more. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the array of corporate issues and business transactions involving closely-held entities from emerging and start-up ventures to mature businesses. An advanced tax degree is not required, but would be a significant attribute; however, the candidate must be well versed in the many tax issues present in business transactions and corporate and limited liability company operations. The firm represents privately-held companies engaged in a wide range of business activities in the Northwest and California, and provides counseling in all areas, including governance, contracting, acquisitions, leasing, financing, and employee relations, as well as providing personal and estate planning advice to business owners. The ideal candidate will have a strong client following and portfolio, and will participate with other practice group attorneys in expanding the firm's business client base.
